The Philipsburg-Osceola High School Music Department is set to host its highly anticipated Spring Concert on March 4, 2025, at 7:00 PM. This special evening will showcase the incredible talents of the Select Choir, Chorus, and Symphonic Band, offering a diverse program filled with beautiful choral harmonies and powerful instrumental performances.

The Philipsburg-Osceola music program is home to many exceptional student musicians who have received prestigious honors this year:
🏅 PMEA District Chorus Qualifiers: Evey Raker, Sophia Hale, Grace Henry, Abigail Pelesky, Finn Parish, Lizzy Haupt, Austin Garcia, Eli Hoy, and Lucas Emigh.
🏅 PMEA District Band Qualifiers: Evey Raker, Sophia Hale, Alivia Bizzarri, E Paul, Lucas Emigh, Finn Parish, Colten Beres, and Sam Massung.
🏅 PMEA District Jazz Band: Lucas Emigh.
🏅 PMEA District Contemporary A Cappella: Grace Henry, Abigail Pelesky, Lizzy Haupt, Austin Garcia, and Eli Hoy.
🏅 PMEA Region Chorus Qualifiers: Grace Henry, Abigail Pelesky, Austin Garcia, Eli Hoy, and Lucas Emigh.
🏅 PMEA Region Band Qualifier: Lucas Emigh.
These students have demonstrated outstanding dedication to their craft, representing Philipsburg-Osceola on a regional stage.
🎼 Honoring Excellence: Tri-M Music Honor Society Inductions
A special moment during the concert will be the induction of seven new students into the Tri-M Music Honor Society, recognizing their achievements in musicianship, leadership, and service to the community.
⏳ A Season of Hard Work & Dedication
Preparation for the concert began in December, following the Holiday Concert. Despite challenges such as snow days and illness, the students have made the most of their rehearsal time, growing as both musicians and individuals.
“I am proud of the growth that all of the ensembles have shown from the beginning of the year until now,” shares Band Director Jenni Lazauskas. “I am greatly looking forward to the concert.”

The Spring Concert is more than just a performance—it’s an opportunity for parents, families, and community members to witness the dedication and talent of these young musicians. The music department extends its deepest gratitude to PO Music Boosters Inc. and the Philipsburg-Osceola Administration and School Board for their unwavering support.
